How to Make Moist and Delicious Banana Bread?

Ingredients (1 loaf)

  • 3 ripe bananas (very soft, with brown spots)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth (some lumps are okay). Stir in melted butter.
  3. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla. Mix well until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Stir just until no flour is visible (don’t overmix). Fold in walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
  6. Pour batter into the greased pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
